1. The King in His Court Perhaps you're a visiting royal, or a dignitary, or part of someone else's entourage. Either way, you have arrived in Solomon's court for a reason: to see the wonders that he is supposedly capable of, to engage with debate with him, to partake of his hospitality, or to negotiate for something that you hope will benefit you both. Whatever your reason, he has welcomed you to stay for as long as you need -- it might be that you've been here for a day, a week, a month, or longer -- but how and where you will approach the King himself to obtain what you want is up in the air. (What's that? Your kingdom doesn't exist in the same world/timeline as his? Nonsense. Anything is possible with the power of handwaving.) 2. "I ask you: are you my Master?" Congratulations, you've performed the summoning ritual with that ancient gold ring you found as a catalyst, and it's a success! You have summoned the Servant, Caster, a man dressed in the finery of an ancient king and seems insubstantial as smoke. Maybe it's the aftermath of a battle; maybe you're trying to introduce him to your modern world; maybe you've discovered his True Name and want to see what response it will get out of him. 2b. Or maybe you're a fellow Servant. I'm not gonna limit my options here. 3. Wildcard Or maybe you've got another idea, so have at it! |
I'm happy to write starters if you give me the gist of what you're looking for! Note that the first two options will be assuming an AU from fgo itself, so I'm playing a little fast and loose (or a lot fast and loose) with characterization. Hopefully Nasu and delightworks don't joss me too hard. We'll find out.
